T10 is a high-carbon tool steel with about 1% carbon. After heat treatment, it develops high hardness and wear resistance. A T10 blade therefore has a hard, stable edge that better resists rolling, deformation, and wear during cutting.

Each Authentic Katana begins in Osafune, Okayama — a place with a long history of Japanese swordmaking. Here, the sword’s design, proportions and specifications are developed, and each blade is hand-forged before continuing its journey to our workshop in Longquan.

In Longquan, the fittings are crafted to the original specifications and paired with the forged blade for final fitting and assembly. Each katana is crafted only after an order is placed, rather than pulled from pre-made stock, and is fully functional — built for collecting, display, practice and cutting.
