Amethyst Fang Damascus Katana – Full Tang & Urushi Saya

The Amethyst Fang is a full-tang katana with a genuine multilayer, forge-welded Damascus steel blade, genuine ray-skin handle panels, and a black natural-wood saya finished with multiple layers of urushi lacquer. Its blade is hand-forged in Bizen Osafune, Setouchi, Okayama, Japan, then sent to our Longquan workshop in China for mounting production and final assembly.

Genuine Multilayer Damascus Steel Blade

The visible pattern comes from genuinely layered and forge-welded Damascus steel rather than a printed surface effect. Natural variation in the forged layers makes each blade pattern slightly different.

The blade is hand-forged in Bizen Osafune, Japan. The sword fittings are produced and the completed katana is assembled at our Longquan workshop in China.

Ray-Skin Handle and Urushi-Lacquered Wood Saya

The handle uses genuine ray-skin panels. Its black saya is made from natural solid wood and receives multiple layers of urushi lacquer for a deep, polished finish. An openwork-carved alloy tsuba completes the mounting design.

Sharp and Dull Options

The SHARP and DULL versions use the same Damascus steel, heat treatment, dimensions, full-tang construction, and fittings. Their only difference is the final edge condition.
