Made from solid wood naturally dried for 3 years. Lightweight, moisture-resistant and warp-resistant. 7 layers of lacquer applied, each layer dried and polished with charcoal powder for smoothness. Finished with transparent lacquer for a high-gloss surface.

Ray Skin-Wrapped Handle

The handle is wrapped with select ray skin and hand-bound using traditional Japanese cross-weave technique with natural cotton cord for slip-resistant comfort.
