Each Authentic Katana begins in Osafune, Okayama — a place with a long history of Japanese swordmaking. Here, the sword’s design, proportions and specifications are developed, and each blade is hand-forged before continuing its journey to our workshop in Longquan.
In Longquan, the fittings are crafted to the original specifications and paired with the forged blade for final fitting and assembly. Each katana is crafted only after an order is placed, rather than pulled from pre-made stock, and is fully functional — built for collecting, display, practice and cutting.

I'm really interested in swords with modern designs, so I bought this one the moment I saw it without much hesitation. Although I'm not a hero patrolling the streets of Gotham at night (lol), this sword is definitely solid. It looks even better in person than it does in the photos. I'm very satisfied with everything from the quality of the scabbard to the details on the handle. The blade is sharp and feels like it could easily slice through tree branches. It has a good amount of weight and doesn’t feel flimsy at all. If you swing it properly, you can even hear a distinct 'whoosh' sound. It's a really cool sword, slightly heavier than I expected, but that’s definitely not a downside.
